The Retiro Station in Buenos Aires is the terminus for three rail lines, Mitre, Belgrano and San Martin. It was opened in 1915. The steel structure was built in Liverpool, England, and assembled in Argentina. It is located adjacent to the Retiro bus terminal, the primary long distance bus station for Buenos Aires.

Less than a mile west of the town of Puerto Iguazu, there is an impressive sight where the Iguazú River meets with the Paraná River. This creates a “T” intersection with three land masses. In this case, the three land masses are portions of 3 different countries.
La Aripuca
La Aripuca is a trap built from pieces of wood that was used to capture birds and small animals. It was a device used by the Guaraní, an indigenous group that used to inhabit the area around Puerto Iguazu.
