December 18, 2015, after getting all of our motorhome repair and upgrade projects completed and getting our personal belongings organized, we pulled out of our storage lot and headed south to Lake Elsinore.
This is the beginning of our next extended motorhome trip. We are trying to not set an end date or specific destinations at this point. Our near term objective is to seek warm and inviting places for the winter.
Stopping in Lake Elsinore serves two purposes. First, it is a short trip and allows us the opportunity to get everything organized inside our home on wheels. When we took our clothes and other items to the motorhome we couldn’t open the slides while in the storage lot so we couldn’t properly put everything in its place. Second, this put us close to Murrieta so that we could visit the babies again before taking off. It was also good timing in that all of Valerie’s kids were getting together at Jason’s for an early Christmas.
So, stocked up, organized and grandkids kissed, off we go. Next stop: Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
