Naples occupies the southern Gulf coast of Florida. While here we parked at the Lake San Marino RV Resort.
The town of Naples is a relatively affluent community with beautiful homes and numerous developed resort communities. The downtown district of Naples has the Naples Bay, which is formed from the Gordon River, on the east side. On the west side are miles of beautiful sandy beaches. Continue reading

While visiting the central Gulf coast of Florida we parked at Horseshoe Cove RV Resort in Bradenton. Bradenton is located between Sarasota to the south and St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Tampa to the north.

Ocala is in the north central part of Florida. While here we parked at the Ocala Sun RV Resort.
Just to the east of Ocala is the Silver Springs State Park. It describes itself as Florida’s original attraction. It has been a national landmark since the 1870s. The Floridian aquifer which underlies the entire state of Florida is one of the world’s most productive aquifers. It supplies drinking water to nearly 10 million people. In hundreds of places this water finds its way to the surface as a spring. Silver Springs is a notable example of this. There are some 60 springs that form the Silver River. Continue reading

We spent a week in Pensacola, actually, we were staying in an RV park in Milton which is across Escambia Bay from Pensacola. While there we were able to get around and see a few things.
