On our way north, we stopped off in Coalinga, located in central California.  We had the opportunity to visit with Geri (partner of Valerie’s late sister Kathy) and her family.  Geri’s mother, two sisters and brother live in and around Coalinga and they kindly invited us to join them for a visit and delightful meal.  They prepared delicious enchiladas, Mexican rice, refried beans and potato salad.

As a bonus, Valerie’s son Tim was able to join us for dinner with a surprise visit.

We enjoyed the meal and appreciate them welcoming us into their home for this visit.
