Leaving Morro Bay was tough knowing that we were heading inland and would certainly encounter warmer, perhaps hot weather.  We’re making our way over to the Sierra Mountains with a couple of stops in between.  Our first waypoint was Santa Clarita, just off Interstate 5 about 35 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.

The weather was not too bad, mostly in the upper 80’s.  While here Ralph, Carlie and Carlie’s Mom came up and had lunch with us at the Valencia Travel Village.

Next stop:  Acton, CA
