For the Christmas weekend, we parked in Houston at the Eastlake RV Resort, part of the Quality RV Resorts group.  They have 11 locations in Texas.  We have stayed at another Quality RV Resort and the parks are very nice with first rate amenities.

One of the nice things they provide are several gas grills located around the property for guest use.  What’s more impressive is that the grills are maintained so that they literally look like new inside and out.  I don’t know how they do it but I have checked the grill the day after using it and it again looks like it has never been used.

For our modest Christmas meal, we used one of the grills for some of the Gulf shrimp we got at Joe Patti’s in Pensacola, FL.  Quite tasty.
