Our annual Cooper family group met, as we have for the past 10 years, at the Eagle Cove Resort on Dale Hollow Lake (pics) in North Central Tennessee.  This year, Valerie and I incorporated the event into our road trip which began from Southern California on October 28, 2013.  We arrived at the lake on December 4th having driven about 4,200 miles so far.

Unfortunately, one of our families was not able to make it but we had a good time, as always.  The weather was great when we arrived, 74 degrees and sunny.  By the middle of the next day it was raining and the temperature had dropped into the upper thirties.  Despite the conditions we were able to reconnect and enjoy the family events.

We have made our reservation for this event for 2014 and look forward to getting together at the lake once again.
