First stop in New Mexico, Gallup.  There’s not a lot of notable sights in Gallup, however, we did find a couple.

Hotel El Rancho is a landmark on Route 66 which has served the rich and famous as well as the more average traveler for many years.  The décor is sort of rustic and western.

Red Rock Park just west of Gallup is a multi-use park that includes an area for rodeos.
