Returning to Cusco from Puerto Maldonado, we crossed the Andes, topping out at over 13,000 feet above sea level. At the peak, it was snowing.

Any skiing?
Not in Peru, but we plan to check out the options in Argentina or Chile. According to our guide book, there are some good ski areas within easy day trip distance from Santiago, Chile.
