Back in September, we spent some time here in Tahoe and took a hike through a portion of the Heavenly ski resort. At that time we took this photo from the top of the Upper North Bowl ski run. For reference, I have superimposed a red circle just to the right of the center of the photo. Inside the circle you can see the Olympic Express chair lift.
A couple of days ago, I found myself in a similar spot at the top of the Upper North Bowl run and took this photo. Just to the right of the center of the photo you can just make out the red circle surrounding the Olympic Express lift. This time there are also happy skiers making their way down the slope without having to worry about the big piles of rocks that are nicely covered by the 42” base of snow.
We’ve been having some nice weather so far and pretty good snow conditions with a little bit of new snow over the past week to freshen things up a bit.
